What is in your basic first aid kit?

I just starting boarding at a barn where the boarders are really on their own in terms of any horse care( injuries, etc) . What do you keep as a basic first aid kit on hand? I want to be prepared as much as possible as I live 35 minutes from my horse.

i hav 2 first aid kits, both pretty much the same, one i keep in a cupboard in my tack room, the other is kept in a large plastic cube, and is the one i take to shows, pony club etc etc

off the top of my head they each hav -

a HUGE assortment bandages/vet wrap etc
betadine
antibacterial cream
antibacterial spray
saline solution
disposable gloves
old towels/rags
scissors
tweezers
duct tape
bawling twine
a small humane first aid kit (contains plasters, asprin ect)
thermometer
vaseline
baby wipes
buckets
emergency numbers (eg vet, a family member, etc)
wound powder
antibacterial wipes
spare halter and lead
cotton wool balls
a rather large assortment of creams/sprays which i cant remember what they are all called

there is heaps more in there but this is all i can remember right now

i also hav a list of every thing that should be in the show kit written up and taped to the lid of the box, to help keep track of every thing thats in there and to make it easier to tell if something is missing when i check it before leaving for a show
