What Is This?

I am in the barn on dial up and I apologize about pics for Fancy but this is first
This mare is probably gonna come before Fancy now that I really look at them and the breeding dates.
this mare was bred on 5-8-06 and on 5-13-06 thats it but
look at this bag
someone else I thought I saw had this same problem without the pics and I have more pics and will load those later in the house but it seems the bag is not filling but the gland is loading up?
Tell me

Does her bag feel hot. I see that red spot on the left side of the teats and makes me wonder if that might be an infection going on. I don't how many babies this mare has had but her bag does look a little funny.

My mare did this but her whole bag was full. Maybe your mare is filling up from back to front instead of the other way. I always say,if it is worrying you, have the vet come check it out. Good luck

My mare has the same thing almost, but alot smaller. It feels firm, but it isn't hot or tender, and she doesn't have a temp. the only thing I could find was mastitis, and that would be hot and tender, plus she would have a temp.

The second picture sure did not look like a mare. Thought I was looking at something else for a minute. I would have her looked at. She could have a clogged duct. Or it could be normal for her. Have it looked at to ease your mind.
