Peg-
You might want to PM EquineRepro, Morri (she is a vet tech) or Ryle (she is a vet tech) also.

sorry, I"m at work.

Repro might have more help

But I see possible clogged duct like everyone else, possible edema looking at the dates you posted.....

that bag definitly isn't 'sitting' right.

With proper "manipulation", a vet can get it to "declog" without much beyond massage. But you have to massage the right area.

Warm water therapy

Possible he has to go in and cut it open.

Or he may wait it out.

Lots of different options if it is just a clogged duct.

Were you able to touch it? Is it hard or squishy? Mine feels like there is a handful of play doh in it. But it is handful sized, not huge like that. I just had the vet out the day before to give her her shots.Figures she would wait.

My maiden mare is due April 4th and she doesnt have much of anything. Her bag is starting but her nips are tiny. I hope she does something cause that baby will have a hard time trying to latch on to them. I would show pic but still cant figure out how to do it.

I longed my mare lightly yesterday, and it is gone this morning. Maybe some forced exercise will help her too?
