What is the tallest breed of horse?
What is the biggest breed of horse?

I've always read Shire, but I heard that the world's current tallest horse is something else...So what is it?

No...I dont think it is shire....from what I have heard...it is something else.....

The worlds largest horse was named Brookie a 19.2h 3900lb Percheron. He had a girth size of 10 ft. and his collar was 40 inches. He died in 1948. You can see a pic of him and learn more info on the website below.

The tallest documented horse was a shire gelding named Sampson. Foaled in 1846, he measured 21.2hh in 1950 weighed 3,360 pounds making him the heaviest recorded horse as well.

one of my horses is an 18hh black percheron and he weighs about 2,000 pounds, his name is Bucephalus but we call him "Moose".

my friend fed her saddlebred grow colt for six months...it works...he matured at 18.3hh, when mom was 16.2 and dad was 17.1 lol
