What is the difference

Maybe one of you can help me. What is the difference between a loose ring snaffle and a egg butt.Thanks

a loose ring: the rings are "o" shaped and move, more pinching it caused to the corner of the horses lips.

eggbutt: mor a a rounded D shape, less pinching

The one in the bottom right corner is a loose ring snaffle.

That is an eggbutt snaffle (picture from webtack.co.uk)
