What Is In Your Grooming Kit?

This is just a thread for fun.

What is in your daily grooming kit, the one you use most of the time?

What is in your show grooming kit, for when you want your horse to look fancy or special?

Jar of coconut oil, med-soft brush, hoof pick, curry comp, shedding blade, bands, comb, Vaseline, scissors.

I forgot to mention... Emu oil, vetwrap, gloves, occasionally a set of spurs, bag of carrots, rag.

Also, theres no organization to the mayhem, so its a mess and always ends up spread all over the place while Im working with the horses then tossed(literally) back in during clean up.

My grooming kit has: coconut oil, hoof pick, curry comb, hard brush, soft brush, one of those silent trimmers for horses, bag of treats, bag of rubber bands, and mane/tail brush.

My show grooming kit has: coconut oil, hoof pick, curry comb, hard brush, soft brush, silent trimmers, bag of treats, mane/tail brush, vet wrap, bag of rubber bands, Santa Fe, show sheen, cowboy magic, hairspray, scissors, hair gel, several rags, hoof black, tail bag, baby oil, vaseline, baby wipes, rubber curry mit, shampoo & conditioner... more that I can't think of. I take a LOT of stuff to horse shows!

In addition to most of the above, I like to use a curry mitt. You can get into all those crevices, and it's much gentler on the sensitive skin of my TB.

Haha! This could take awhile. I have a little bit of everything...I think...?

- Rubber curry
- Boomerang hard brush(love it!)
- Longggg bristled brush
- Body brush
- Goat hair face brush
- 2 hoof picks...cause they tend to go walking
- Hooflex
- 2 paint brushes(for the Hooflex)
- Hibitaine ointment
- Fly spray
- Miracle Mist
- Vitamin E ointment
- A bottle with a mixture of scope and baby oil
- Braiding accessories(braid aid, comb, elastics, pull through, seam ripper...yarn is elsewhere)
- Towel
- Sometimes body sheen stuff for shows
- Scissors
- Dog dematter...AMAZING!
- Hair brush(mane and tail)
- His sheepskin Eskadron back boots
- And I throw polos on top before I ride, just to make one trip.

I have no idea how all of this fits in there...but it does!! Lol!

And I usually just stuff the essentials in my show box for the ride. =)
