Look under the grooming section, there are a couple recent threads about coconut oil up there.

Wow, and I thought my grooming box was full.

I have to look into some of this stuff and see what about expanding my own grooming supplies.

My daily grooming kit is pretty pared down:

rubber currycomb
rice root stiff brush
medium stiff brush
horsehair soft brush
2 flannel rub rags, one for face, one for body
hoof pick

before I ride I knock off the dust with the medium brush and wipe off the face, pick feet. AFTER I ride I do the whole deal, curry, then stiff brush, then soft brush, time with the rub rag. I find the horses enjoy it more after they work and I get a better shine to the coat when the skin is warm from working.

At a show I'll have more stuff--few extra pieces of braiding yarn, hoof oil, few extra rub rags, cornstarch for any white markings, rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle (gets rid of sweat marks). I try not to carry too much stuff as it's just more to haul around. I probably could fill a trunk with all my brushes but now I have some favorites and pretty much only use those.

Well, my "grooming kit" is usually scattered all over the barn... But it's pretty basic. Hard, medium, and soft brushes... rubber curries (I LOVE them, they're taking over my barn), bath scrubbies, a couple of massaging-type curries... two different kinds of yuck detangler (Mane &Tail and er, that pink stuff) and a small tube of Cowboy Magic detangler (am on the search for "THE" detangler)... face oil, baby oil, fly spray... Thrush-X, a wide-toothed comb, mane bands... I think that's it. Oh, and thick gloves and WD-40 for burr season.

Hah, I forgot hoof picks and electrical tape.
