Its great as a mane/tail detangler, and also as a hoof conditioner.

Sorry cant help you with the white... thats why I buy horses with minimal markings.

I added a few more things to my original post after taking a peek at the actual kit... Im an airhead.

Stiff brush
Soft brush
Grooma
Jelly scrubbers
Comb
Cowboy magic
Mane Mousse
Cordless clippers
Fruit rollups
Carrots
Stud chain
Sun glasses
Measuring tape
Gloves
M-T-G
Hoof picks
Splint boots
Bell boots
Polo wraps
Half chaps
Boot pulls
Bag balm
Corona ointment
Tea tree ointment
Fly spray
Swat
Grooming spray (homemade)
Mega-Tek
Slick-N-Easy
Pens
Leather wipes

Yes, I have a huge grooming tote, and it's usually full to the brim

My show grooming kit has: coconut oil, hoof pick, curry comb, hard brush, soft brush, silent trimmers, bag of treats, mane/tail brush, vet wrap, bag of rubber bands, Santa Fe, show sheen, cowboy magic, hairspray, scissors, hair gel, several rags, hoof black, tail bag, baby oil, vaseline, baby wipes, rubber curry mit... more that I can't think of. I take a LOT of stuff to horse shows!

You put it in their tails/manes. It is AMAZING.
I am curious about using this coconut oil. First where would you get some?? Is it better than using stuff like show sheen or santa fe?? My mare has a really long mane and tail so it becomes tangled very easily and I am looking for something to condition it and keep it soft and a little more manageable.

The amazing benefits of coconut oil!

I use it, I know several other forum members do too. It's great.

im love grooming stuff, always looking for more gadgets but i have to have natural bristle body brushes, they just work better and they dont cause static.

ok, loads of people seem to have 'shedding blades' whatever they are.
In my usual grooming kit:
rubber curry comb, a really awesome face brush, sponge, hoofpick, hard brush, soft brush, washing mitt, metal curry (yes for the brushes, not the horse), wound spray, vaseline, mane comb, sweat scraper, fly spray

Ok, the show box. Do u really wanna know? I do a fair amount of showing, so the horse has to be turned out really well, sooo:

hard brush
soft brush
hoofpick
mane comb
plaiting comb
quarter marker sheet
quarter marking brush
hair gel
hair spray
shoe polish
baby oil
baby wipes
sunblock (a cool one for horse and rider)
baby powder
chalk
plaiting elastics
a really soft brush for the tail to finish it
sponges (2 or 3)
curry comb
fly spray
rescue remedy (herbal calming thing..hehe, for me or my boy)
towel
cloth

there's loads more I just forget...I also have a box which I take that just has stuff for the rider that might be forgotten or needed. stuff like painkillers, medicine, hairnets, clips, hairties, sunblock, gum..etc etc
