That's like saying what happened to the "good old days" when we just used electricity for light after dark. Now we have computers -- AND the internet! -- and you all know what trouble people can get into with that -- and, by golly, if you can't use one of those fandangled things you're "behind the times" and not winning any awards.

It's a little thing called progress and with it comes corruption. It is present in each stage of every facet of our lives -- there were just as many cowboys then that would hop on a green back for the first time without prior work on the horse and damage them good as there are trainers today taking specialized horses and using damaging advanced training methods to get more gold medals. Such is the state of human existence now, then and well into the future.
