Ok, well here are some I was just taking while I was out side about 2 days ago, which was when I thought she wasn't pregnant anymore.

She definitely still is needing more weight on her, which like we talked about before, start her on pellets, and I have, but does she still look pregant in these pics? I can take some more pictures of her right now, and post them today, she kinda looks like some belly is back but not nearly what it originally was.

She does not look pregnant to me in any of those. Why did you think she was?

I'm with Haas on this... even in your last thread you had up I didn't think she looked big enough for 10 months. Did your vet palpate her and actually feel the foal?

I've seen a mare that was 13 months along and had a belly similar to your mares... it wasn't a healthy foal. Not saying that that would happen to your mare as well, but you might want to prepare yourself.

5/22 pictures

well see i didn't think she was going to end up being pregnant anyways, since she was underfed, and just not in good shape when we got her, but then when her tummy started getting larger I started to keep a close eye on her, and would sit out and watch her several times a day, & it just kept on growing, it's so much smaller in these pictures than i've ever seen it. well except when we first got her, when you would stand behind her you couldn't see anything but her small hips, no tummy at all, so it's alot larger even in these then when we first got her, she'd be 9 months along is what the previous owner told me, maybe 9 1/2. My vet said he couldn't palpate her, he said she was to small, (i dont like my vet, he doesn't seem very knowledgable with horses... but he's the only vet in the area, i'll find a new one soon hopefully.) Once I saw the foal move, I took her to the vet for a shot, and he agreed that she was pregnant, and told me to get her off the fescue grass... I dont know... I guess we'll see. her tummy really doesn't seem to be here now. but is rather large still since I've only had her a month and she can't eat grass, she wouldn't have gotten that big of a belly yet, by just eating the feed i give her. . . shes also older, 15-20 i dont know if that means anything to y'all.. .but here is pictures from today. 2 of my neighbors with horses think she's pregnant from seeing her in person, but i'm still not convinced

she almost just looks like a more healthy weight rather than having a baby??!?!

I agree... right now she looks like she's at a healthy weight... I would think she'd be a lot bigger if she was preggers.

Can your vet do an ultrasound on her? I don't know if an ultrasound would be bad if she's that far along though.

Either way... if she is pregnant I'll be praying for a healthy foal! She's gorgeous... so it'll be a looker!

Sorry nothing about that looks pregnant. Many mares who have had feeding problems will have a gut. What you might think is foal movement might just be gut movement. What worming/feeding program have you had her on? How old is she... sorry if that is already posted but I see nothing that makes me think prego mini.

She definitely looks better. Good job.

well thats disapointing, but sounds about right.

ummm she was de-wormed the day before I brought her home, then 2 weeks later I de-wormed her agian to be safe, and then after that give her de-wormer every 2 months. She eats 2 handfuls of alfalfa pellets & 2 handfuls of mare and foal pellets in the morning & at night. and in the middle of the day I give her 2 handfuls of alfalfa pellets, I'll do this for a couple weeks and then might give her more or less depending on what she needs. But thats what she's getting for now.
