what do YOU think? small update :)

ok, i promise to have pics soon of both stud and mare....quite possibly baby to..do any day now.

heres the question.

Romeo is a spotted draft...paintXperch mix. he is black and white.(hes now almost 3 was barely 2 when the pics were taken)

Belle is all black with strip on face and 2 white pasterns... 1/3 black perch, 1/3 app. and 1/3 paint (dont know what color)

any quesses as to what might be thrown? Rena whats a paint really badly to happen....but opinions would be great.

and yes i have permission to post the pics

It all depends on what his e and a status is and whether or not he's homozygous

she hasnt had him tested yet..she was told that the test wasnt completely acurate by the vet.

According to the coat claculator its a 70% chance it will be a black Tobiano a 24% chance for a black and 5% sorrel

ill have to let rena know....she dosent want another sorrel..she has my mare right now...lol. if it came out black that would give her 3 black horses...lol. hopefully that 70% chance of tobiano would happen for her. she has 2 tobys already but one is a red roan....she has a thing for black horses.

No, sorry, I couldn't help myself. Without knowing the e or a or To status of dad and mom, there is really no way to make a reliable guess.

the e & a tests are 100% reliable. The To test is a bit ???? She would do well to test for it anyway as it cannot prove a negative, but can pretty much prove a positive, almost.
