The second one has a fractured navicular and has been nerved, and the last is a roarer, which for upper level anything, you would likely need tie back surgery. Those are both out in my book.

OP, I think if you're looking at OTTB's, you can find a nicer one than that one. Not that there's fundamentally anything wrong with it, we just don't have enough info to really see what it looks like.

I searched within 100 miles of your zip code and found a few potentials.

Not an eye popping mover, but cute and seems nicely started. \

Who knows about jumping ability, but this is one of the cutest Friesian crosses i've seen.

Needs some work, but already jumping and cute enough.

May or may not be close to you or in your price range. Jumps at the end of the video.

For ottbs:

http://www.canterne.org/Listings/Tra...stings_NEW.htm

http://www.canterne.org/images-salehorses/Sue%20Me.JPG
Bay, 16.2 hands, 7 years old
"Sue Me" is a tall glass of water with an exceptionally pretty head and neck...and this striking mare is an absolute sweetheart who always tries her best! Trainer has a big barn, needs to cut down her numbers by selling the horses who aren't hitting the winner's circle. Her groom describes Sue as a horse who "doesn't make a bad move - very, very nice to work with!" Lovely show, pleasure, or sporthorse broodmare prospect with her size and bloodlines (Gone West on top, Hail to Reason on the bottom). She's used to life on the farm, turns out with other horses, no vices. Price: $1,500 negotiable.

Very pretty, but strange conformation

Chestnut with chrome, 16.2 hands, 6 years old
“Coco’s Gold” will grab your attention immediately, with his handsome face and very interesting, flashy markings. On top of that, Coco is a total sweetheart who doesn’t do a thing wrong. Trainer proudly states, “He’s very nice, has no vices, and would make a great horse for a kid someday.” Not fazed by anything and a big, solid citizen who carry some famous blood in his veins: his sire Lion Cavern is a son of Mr. Prospector out of a Secretariat mare, so you can see where he gets his strapping, muscular build. Trainer doesn’t want to “get stuck” with his slower horses at the end of the Suffolk meet, so is pricing to sell now. Price: $2,000 negotiable.

And about a billion more nice looking ones on that site.

Thanks guys I REALLY do appreciate you looking around for me!
However.... I REALLY do need a horse at the very very LEAST 16.2h. My last horse was 16.2 and even then I was told I looked silly on him sometimes. So I'm looking more to aim at 17h... which is hard to find!
The are all lovely prospects you posted BUT all about 15.3 haha

I looked online and had a huge list including rescues and then windows closed on me. for the rescues go to http://erie.kijiji.com/f-Pets-Livest...QQCatIdZ100248 I dont know where you are in PA but you can change the location. there seems to be alot of nice looking rescue tbs on there.

aside from rescues I found some others in a lower range. I dont know how high your wanting to go in jumping though.

aqha but bigger and can go to 3 foot or maybe higher.

Thanks a ton Rising Star!
I REALLY like that mare and the 3rd horse, the gelding. I'll have to give them a call. I have actually contacted quite a few on that list as well! Many have sold and the ads have not been changed and a few more with injuries and issues not mentioned in the ads.

Better get to calling haha
Thanks

Woops, missed the 16'2.

Bay, 16.2 hands, 7 years old
"Peppermint Lace" is a mare who’s done it all! According to trainer this mare has been ridden indoors and outdoors, gone on trail rides, has jumped, and has even given a lesson to a 7 yo! Trainer describes her as an absolute sweetheart, and it was clear to the volunteers that this couldn’t be more true.
Price: $2,500
