ok so yea she did question her riding ability but tht is true what harli person said.not everyone who is a good rider shows.my dressage instructor trained all the lippinzar horses in spain and australia and does grnad prix dressage but he hasn't shown in about 10 years!!doesn't mean that he ain't a good rider.just because u have a horse don't mean tht u have 2 go 2 shows.i'm sure everybody already knows that but some people just prefer having a horse 2 love and care for all the time

I have found that people go through fazes with their horses. They initially get a horse for the pure joy of horses. Once involved in horses they learn about different horse related activities and get interested in that area be it showing racing, trail riding, etc. I think your involvement with horses depends on the state that you life is in. As a child and young teen, I did lots of showing. All through college I worked at different barns, training and showing for the farm. I then found myself married with young children and quit horses for a while. Now my kids are horse age and back into them again. Now my kids are showing and I am a horse show mom. As my kids get older and off to college, my now show horses will turn into my trail riding horses.

I agree, like i said before walkdontrun leave her be. I think that walkdontrun you should take the time to wake up in the morning and enjoy what life has to give instead of being such a sour person. I suggest that you keep your mouth shut and not say another word to harli36. bad things happen to those who are very negative. on a side note : modems are a great way to talk to people and get onto web sites like this. oooh i forgot to tell everyone i graduated with a degree in computers.
