Who taught you how to wrap with polo wraps??

They should have taught you the correct direction. I would be VERY sure that you have been shown correctly and are confident, as if they slip around or are wrapped improperly (even in the correct direction) they can cause much more damage to the legs than if left unwrapped!

It is clockwise on the right, and counterclockwise on the left. When you are coming around the front of the limb (toward the face) you always want to be pulling toward you, never pushing away.

Counterclockwise on the left and clockwise on the right. When the polo is on the outside of the leg it should be going towards the horse's hind end. Does that make sense? If not I think I have some pictures somewhere if you want.

From front to back on the outside. Doesn't matter what side, it's always going from the front TO the back on the outside of the leg. If you find yourself going from the back to the front when the wrap comes around the outside you are going backwards.

Make sense?

I hate to say it... but whoever taught you how to wrap polos didn't do a very good job if they didn't teach you which direction
