It's hard to tell, since his blanket and socks are hiding where we could see any dun factor. He does have the shoulder smudging, but of course alot of non dun horses can have that, too. Were either of his parents a dun?

Hmm, it looks like there might be a stripe down his back, but it's hard to tell. Sire doesn't appear to have a cream gene, and we know the mare doesn't. Looks to me like the colt is either a light bay or dun.

How can you tell that?

Sire and foal both look bay dun. Either could also have cream.

Sire doesn't appear to have a cream gene. Not saying he doesn't have one, but just by looking at him, it doesn't look like he's carrying one.

Sire is a dun carries BEB Blood lines.

Line bred Might bright blood lines and it shows.

Foal is a dun guaranteed.

And If you don't like it guaranteed, Lets just say I'll bet my money on that foal being dun.
