Yes gray is dominant over everything. It turns whatever your base color and pattern are gray/white.

So, would all of her foals be grey, regardless of what she is bred to? If she turns grey?

Sorry for so many questions guys, Thank You all so much

See to me I see a lot of what I would call rose gray tones to that mare... This is one of mine before she shed to gray...

No only 50% of them, because she only carries one copy of the gray gene.

"Gray" really means that in the end, the whole horse, head to toe, will be white. Fleabites may or may not enter the picture. A gray pinto can still look pinto when wet, because the parts of his body that were dark will still have dark skin, and that will show up when wet. The parts of the body that started out white have pink skin, so you see the contrast.

Homozygous for what - Tobiano? Yes, that means all his offspring will be Tobiano (at least). Gray covers up EVERYTHING.

Tobiano and A are both possible for homozygousity. 115 Offspring all all bay, brown, dun, gray or sorrel. In fact there is a full brother that is listed as gray. BREEZY JET CYCLONE

Actually she has a 50% chance for each foal that it will be gray. Not that 50% of her foals would be gray. She could have a couple of gray foals and then have the rest at any number not be gray. Or more could be gray than 50% of them. It's a per foal chance, not a total number % chance.

Wow! Great information! Thank You!

So, if she is going to change to grey, what age would she change?
