What color do you think he could be?

I never thought I would post that question!

The Black Eqyptian Arabian mare had her foal by the mini Dun Stallion. He's a very healthy spitfire, she is going to have her hand full with that one! He's two days and already refusing to be caught, and running off on his own away from the mare(he, he, hee).

The foal body looks Chestnut, and the foal has a dark red mane and tail. She said that the legs look like her palamino. No black hairs on the foal.

Any guesses? If it's not one of the four basic colors, it's out of my relm.

yep, chestnut or sorrel!

Here's a pic of Tucson as a youngster, and one of him now. he's registered sorrel.

I bet the white/palomino color on the colt's legs will disappear before long.

Yep, sounds like a chestnut. Both of my bay foals had light colored legs and it disappeared over time.
The foal sounds cute!

Well, that's kind of disappionting....I was hoping to tell her she had a Peach Dunalino or something like that . Maybe I still will, I wonder how long I could get away with it....

She and I are clueless when it came to the speciality colors--she was kind of hoping the mini Dun would be ruled out as a possible father (it was a surprise when they bought the mare, she wasn't supposed to be bred).

They are relieved mare and foal came though healthy more than anything.

The baby is tall. It can not walk under moms belly, so should be at least as tall as mom if not taller.

Thanks for the help!!
