SUNY Cobleskill, I stand a good chance of being accepted, its very hands on, I can afford it, Sam (my horse) can come with me. Its also nice and small, only 2500 students (smaller then my high school)

I'm majoring in Equine Studyies, going in for an assosiates in Equine Buisness Managment and then continuing on to my bachelors in EBM, but if I find I like something else better, like equine nutrition or something I can change. I'm also taking spanish, lots of spanish. Cobleskill doesn't offer any degress in foreign language, but I want to be fluent and spanish will only help me in life.

I am planning to go to Vermillion College for a AHT. I would love to go there! They have such a beautiful campus and its close to home. They have a rodeo club and curling team that I would love to join.

I really have always wanted to be a vet, but with my marks I would never make it.

Actually I was considering going to Olds for an Equine Specialist. Maybe I will go for to Vermillion first for an AHT and then Olds for a ES. I don't know yet. I am only grade 10, so I have 2 more years!

When are you graduating?

It's actually HARDER to get into veterinary school in the USA because there are so many fewer vet schools.

If you don't do well in college though, all is NOT lost. There are several overseas programs in New Zealand, and Australia where they do not expect you to have great PreReqs.

And I'm not going to enter the grade debate... but let me say that work experience and volunteering in veterinary clinics can help balance out a sub-par GPA.
