What can i do????

Well my new horse is well not in show condition but like has his mane pulled a feathers trimmed etc. The other night i just left him in a showerpfoof rug eith no neck rug so down in the roots of his mane it was all dirty what can i do to keep him looking good.

ya dont worry to much about grung untell the you get close to show. Thats the triels of having a loud colerd horse lol. As far as yelowing you can use some of the blueing shampoos but I would sugest to get the hair real wet befor you put them on. (lerned that one the hard way) a nother trick is if you are about go in the ring and find a spot to use a rag with a little bit of rubbing acahool to buff the spot out and or some baby talcome or finch chalk.
Just keep curring and bruching him and keep thows rugs on him. Lots of elbo gress is about the only way to get that job dun.

Horses will get dirty, it's what they do best. Just wash him well before a show and don't stress over keeping him clean now.

ya bag his tail, that will keep the ends from terning yucky and keep brakeg down. You can even use an old tob sock as a tail bag just cut the top so that you have two straps to tie togethere but remaber thats coming from an american and the longer the tail the better for a lot of us here lol.
