For gray or white horses a dust of baby powder of their coat makes them a bit more white.
Skin so soft on their muzzles to make them shine...and also on their mane and tail.
And maybe oil just on their feet if i dont have polish

show grooming(:

.. it's always good to bathe your horse the day before .. but i've found after the bath keep a sheet on overnight to prevent more dirt(: .. also instead of buying brand name "horse wipes" .. baby wipes work just as well! they leave your horse baby fresh!

You'd need a bombproof horse to do this but our neighbor said that he uses a wet-dry vac that can blow and suck, turns it to blow and blows all the dust out of his horse. He said blowing the dust out works 100 times better then sucking it out. I've never tried it but he said it makes his horse shine!

For white or amber hooves, H2O2 (Hydrogen peroxide) and a soft tooth brush to remove stains/dirt.

BLACK shampoo for grays and "whites". It won't give you a blue cast like the typical whitening shampoos and if you have used a whitening shampoo and it still has a blue tinge, get a bottle of red enhancing shampoo to use over it. They pretty much cancel each other out!

DON'T USE FURNITURE PRODUCTS ON YOUR HORSE!

Oster body wipes OR dog ear cleaner for horses ears. Works great to get the debris out of them and they don't usually need to have a highlighter put in there. Also don't use baby oil on horses due to it causing them to burn. Use a highlighter like Silverado face glo. It has Vitamin E and sunscreen

Clip white legs a month before a show with a 40 and then a 10 or 15 a week before the show to give a close look, but not skinned and pink

Oh... one more... If your horse has a habit of wanting to wipe off hoof polish on their white socks... 1. have someone walk the horse after doing one back hoof then paint the other and then walk that.... it also works great to black hooves first then clip with a 10. Will take off most all of any polish on the legs.
