Right now getting nice and low for HUS. I own a TB and hes only been into heavy work for a year now although he had a lot of the winter off. Hes been doing really good though and enjoys his work a lot. We are also working on jumping 3-4 feet. He LOVES it. anytime we go out to the outdoor arena and he sees them up he gets all excited and just cant wait till we jump.

Well, with Bodie, my trainer and I are working on my position, which helps his position, which helps him snatch his feet up over fences, which helps him not crash through fences, which makes me not fall off! It's a lot of me not ducking or jumping ahead (of course, everything's my fault, not Bodie's)

My coach is working on me riding without reins and stirrups at the walk off the lunge line and at the trot on the lunge line, as ive become a very defensive rider and my mare has decided shes had enough of my greenish habits that i was working on getting rid of.
we are making progress very slowly and i am very happy that my mare is challenging me in this way as im learning to REALLY ride now

Marrker I'm not really working on anything with other than flying changes and tight turns.

With Lacey I'm finessing her lope and working on flying changes.

Tanwey-Basic trans (forever working on them), legthening GETTING OFF THE FORHAND, better rhythum. Acually going over the jumps now we move up a level (eek!!) Im just about ready to give up on her and I have 2 other horses comming in I can work on instead.

Oh and me, Im training myself to really sit up and keep my hands steady ad keep a strong core, but its a bit hard when your trying to do it by yourself.
