I'm training flying changes with Dreamer and working on teaching her rate. Training for barrels by the way lol. Also just doing a lot of transitions and trying to get her big butt in shape lol.

Eddie: Long and low stuff and tons of it! That is definitely a large hole in his training. Also, not popping that left shoulder when going over fences.

Penny: Relaxation. She knows alot and can give it to me, though it's not very pretty.

Felix-jogging/loping over ground poles, jogging cone patterns, lifting his shoulder in turns at the lope and jog, and perfecting the pivot.

Cool thread! Right now with Cat, my 10yo Quarter Horse, I am just working on getting her slowly and comfortably back into shape from her her soft tissue injury and layup last winter/spring. Once she is completely fit and the chiropractor gives her the okay (her right hip is currently out pretty bad from over compensating during the injury), we will start working on jumping (probably hunter) and really getting into flying changes.

Minot, my 4yo Tb/ Percheron cross, is still working on basic leads changes (though she should be ready to move on soon). Soon though, we will be doing a LOT of cavaletti and small cross rails to help her pick up her feet/ extend, as we work on her hunter under saddle training and later hunter. I am also thinking of doing low-level western pleasure with her since she is naturally extremely smooth and slow, but that probably won't happen until later.

Sky -- fine tuning responsiveness, staying balanced on course, confidence jumping strange jumps. We conquered the liverpool. And every so often we set up gymnastics to work on his form, dealing with long/short strides, and trying out high and wide oxers in a controlled setting (aka, one where his rider can't screw up the approach ). Transitions within gaits.

Half arab -- flexibility and responsiveness to hand, leg, and seat. He's not sour about working, although he is used to doing what he wants when he wants. Shoulder in, leg yield, turns on forehand and haunches. Convincing him that he can do a little bit of long and low.

Little tb -- relaxing his topline and stretching out his trot. Long and low, as much as I can get from him.

QH cross -- getting him hot off my leg and loosened up laterally and longitudinally. Shoulder in, leg yield, turns on forehand and haunches.

Caspian -- gotta keep that coat glossy.

With Misty I'm working on keeping the same collection we have at the jog in the lope (we couldn't lope during the winter, but we could work on jog). And I'm also working on getting that lead every single time. And I'm still trying to "unstick" all her lateral movements with the cirb, she does them nicely with just a halter or a rope but the bit is making her worry.

Hopefully by the end of the season we'll be working on simple and flying changes. And I also hope to rider her completely tackless too. We've done bareback before and she actually prefers f I ride with just a rope around her neck, so hopefully this will happen

I basically am just trying to get Fame, the horse I ride on Saturdays, more round in the contact. He has been teaching me SO much about being quiet with your hands and pushing a horse into the bridle. I also am working on canter-walk, walk-canter transitions, and also more responsive and quick up transitions. I also definitely need to work on getting him more uphill. My lateral work on him is also quite poor, so I am hoping to get a few lessons in so that I am aware of what good lateral work should feel like on him. His canter is also very unbalanced while I ride him, so I am trying to figure out the right mixture of cues and body position to be able to support his balance better.

Ground manners!!! with hech. On top, we've just mastered walk to canter transistions but need to go back to basics a bit after a bit of stiffness due to a ill-fitting saddle!
With donny, perfecting lateral movements, collections and extensions.

I really need to concentrate on training now, it's taken a back seat to competing and just generally getting them out to see stuff.

Everything could do with improving, but saddle set backs are the worst ever!!!
