what about this breeding pair?

I am looking for opinions on my mare and the stud I am looking to possibly breed her to

Dun it Dealin
I just hope he looks good in person because I am loving him. I wish he had more of a show record but his breeding is by far the best that I have been able to find in my area. I am absolutly insane about smart chick olena bloodlines and thats what really draws me into him. Also I dont think his bloodlines could say reining any more. I mean hollywood dun it on bottom and smart chick olena on top

Ok now to my mare play n on country. She is a BS paint mare but carries the sabino gene. Pics never do her justice, she is the most unbelievable trot, gorgeous. She really has everything I want want in a mare. I know she is breed for speed and halter, but she works a cow like a dream and she was really coming into her reining training before she was injured. In the pics she isnt butt high its just unlevel ground. Also I know she is out of shape but she has been laid up all summer due to injury. I know she has high withers but that is ok.

I really like them both! Something about the term 'BS sabino paint' is making me blink, though... does sabino translate into overo in the paint world?

I loved Hollywood Dun It to death and am still so sad that he's gone! I would have loved to breed him to my mare.

Looks like you've combination to me! She's a little round, but that's okay... so's mine. Of course... mine's 7 months pregnant...

I think they are both gorgeous! You have an excellent chance of getting a Palomino foal out of them. I bred my mare to a Buckskin stud (she's a chestnut/sorrel QH) and got a Palomino.

I love the stallion! I also love his bloodlines... What's his breeding fee?

I too am confused by BS Sabino Paint... There are 3 types of Overos in the Paint breed... Frame (most common), Sabino (most mistaken for other patterns and BS), and Splash (least common and my favorite)

Are you meaning she's registered as BS, but she's a minimal marked Sabino? My neighbor has a mare like that.

I'm not sure what's wrong with the pictures...

Well she has the sabino gene. Guess it dosn;t really mean anything but her foals have all come out looking roan and she herself looks roan but she isn;t a roan. I was told she was a sabino. And her blaze wraps down to her lips.

My neighbor's mare has a bald face, high white socks with very uneven edges (a couple of places it goes up her legs in skinny lines...), roan patches and a spot on her belly. I believe she can be registered in the regular registry... but I don't think my neighbor wants to deal with it.

So are you just looking for studs or are you picking this guy? Or just thinking about breeding?

I wish I could breed my mare again. It would be so much fun to have another foal.

I am always looking for new studs to consider. But he was one high on my list and I was going to see him in person to see how he really looks. Yeah my mare is reg as breeding stock but from everything I gather she caries the sabino gene. She was tested at UC davis before I got her and I am still trying to find out what it said. ohh yeah his stud fee is 750$

I'm really liking that stallion! He's got that great Hollywood Dun It look to him! Plus a grandson of Smart Chic Olena. You also have to remember he is young....it says that he is their latest addition to the stallion roster...so maybe they just recently bought him....he's only a 2000 baby. He still has time, if they keep with him, to get him into some big shows and earn some points and whatnot on him.

Best Wishes!
