Wow Lexy ... he's really growing! He's going to be a real looker!

I'd like to see some more pictures of his daddy too!

Two months old

Tank is two months old today. It's hard to see in the pics, but he is truly living up to his nic-name.

(It's hard to get any good pics of him from the front...... he won't say out of your face!)

Tommy and I were looking him over the other day and talking about how much muscle he has for a two mth old, which led us into a discussion on HYPP.

He commented on the size and definition of his muscling. I made the comment..... "Yeah, I know. It wouldn't surprise me if he tests positive." Since Tommy hasn't ever really been interested in the details of HYPP, he asked me why would I think that. Told him because (I read) the muscles are firing all the time which makes them bigger and more defined. It went completely over his head. I explained it this way.

ME "Do you remember the commercials on TV about the device that you wrap around your waist and it sends small electrical impulses to the muscles which is supposed to help you lose fat and build muscles?"

HIM "Yeah"

ME "HYPP works kinda like that."

HIM "Ummm OK.... whatever"

ME

Something interesting:

See the sorrel mare in the back ground? That is Tank's aunt Lacy (Tomlins Smoke N Lace). She is a sister to the colts dam. (more than half, but I don't know the % right off)

Tank and Lacy are practically inseparable. As a matter of fact, the only time you see him with mom is when its nursing time. I have actually had ppl argue with me that the colt belongs to Lacy and not Lexy. I would bet that if Lacy were lactating, the colt would nurse from her....... and she would let him. lol

LOL..... which one? Both mares are in the back-ground in the 3rd pic.

His mom is the gray mare.
