Went to Horse Expo

We didn't buy anything!

There was only one thing I wanted, but not really. There were neon lunge whips...but actually I think they we dressage whips?? Hmm....and the Western States Horse Expo shirts were cute. Some halters were $5!!! But...I already have 4, so... Oh well, it isn't my fault we didn't buy anything, my parents offered, I just didn't see anything I HAD to have. We watched some neat cutting thing in an arena while having lunch. Then looked at the sale horses for the auctions tomorrow and Sunday. We got a quote on a really nice barn!!

It was a Blue Ribbon barn...shedrow style...2 12x12 stalls, 8x12 tack room, and an 8x12 open hay/grain area...it would end up costing around $20,000 when everything is completed: permit, concrete...etc. Our friend from the barn invited us to go tomorrow with her, but I don't think my mom wants to go again. It was SO hot...almost unbearable. But, I thought it would be fun to watch the auction for a little while. I kinda wanted to go again...silly, I know...we were just there! I don't know, there wasn't anything there I would go buy tomorrow...well I'm not sure. I think we skipped part of the indoor shopping. Anyhoo, I am rambling.

I always like to go to things like that...just to see what they got. Kinda like flea markets...always some neat stuff to find.

Sounds like fun, I love going to that. It must not be as much fun when its really hot though.

That's awesome! I've gone every year. I usually go two days (once with my mom and once with my friend). I'm going tomorrow and Sunday. I'm glad you had such a fun time! I love the horse expo!
