We got our mule!

Gotchya! Did you really think we bought a mule? Well we did. It's a Kawasaki Mule. Doesn't it have gorgeous confo?

It has 4WD, differential lock thing, a plow that my dad already tried with some bedding (which is what we'll be plowing besides snow), and a built in dumper for manure. I took it off roading yesterday, it was fun. I drove my sisters to our neighbors cuz they wanted to see their cows and goats and stuff. So i asked him if he had any trails on his property that i could ride on with Blue (my horse). So he said, sure i'll show you if you want to follow me. So he took us on the trails he's made so far for his 4 wheeler. Thier really nice becasue all his property used to be a swamp, but he got rid of all the beaver dams, so now its just dead wood and grass. We could only go so far cuz their's a pretty big stream. So i can use that to practice with Blue with crossing water! I'm so phyced. Anyway, the machine goes great off road. Do you like it? Makes everything a lot more fun and easier. Oh, and don't mind my expression in the last pic, i don't know what i was doing, probably getting yelled at. My dad is really paranoid about being careful with the mule.

Haha, actually, the first thing I thought before opening this thread was a mule like that! That's what we have at our barn, and people always give us funny looks when we say we're going to use the mule to take hay to the horses, or use the mule to clean up manure in the arena.

Have fun with it! I've found that they are extremely useful.

Yes it's very fun! We've been speeding down our dirt road in it, and it makes mucking stalls and paddocks soo more appealing.

Now at least that mule doesn't buck or kick but if you don't feed it it'll stop going LOL.
