My boys doing real good, every day we go out for a few hours through the neighborhood and through the woods. He just needs the one on one since I got rid of my 32 yr old gal he was so attached to.
Tallpine what part of montana are you in I pretty much grew up in Dillon, way different than the woods here. When I say dencely forested most don't understand. I watch those moose move through it and figure buddy can to but I agree he's probably got more confidence than I.
And to let you all know that snaffle tastes REAL GOOD with all that molasas poured on it, in a week of licking it several times a day he's gonna gladly have it where it belongs.

I was out cutting firewood one time near Wasilla, and fell through the forest floor into waist deep water! Be careful.

Love those big straight cottonwoods up there though. The ones around here grow every which direction and usually have several trunks leaning out.
