My favorite color of horse is not up here...

(Then again, it's not very common, so I understand.)

I absolutely LOOVE black bays. (And not only because that's what my horse is.) I love how they adopt a reddish gleam when the light hits them, but in the winter, when their coat grows out long, they can be a deep hue of black. Yeah.

Of course, I also like duns, buckskins (as long as they're not too golden), appaloosas, palominos, paints (if their pattern is interesting enough), blue roans, and I also love silver dapple bays and silver dapple blacks. But black bays are still the best.

Lol! That sounds like me...I bought a TB before I bought sunny, and she was a dapple gray. I thought appies were ugly but I fell in love with sunny. Now I've turned into loving appies..except for some of them are still yucky..lol.

I guess I'm just Appy Happy. Got my first one 3mos. ago and I'm head over heels for him. He's red roan and he looks like he got spray painted on a windy day. But it's his personality that has me. He is awesome. His full name is cash,cash and more cash!
