Wardrobe Malfunction

I almost had a huge wardrobe malfunction at my dressage show tomorrow.

Pulled out my white breeches to wash them last night only to find two huge holes along the seam (in the rear of course). Oh no!

How embarassing would that have been to go to a show only to have a bare bum.

Now I am rushing off to the downtown tack store over my lunch break to try and find some not heinously expensive (or ugly) breeches.

Eek!

Any stories about funny warbrobe malfunction incidents at shows to share?

I was showing indoors at Swan Lake, my pony cracked over a fence, my breeches were too tight... I was wearing red undies with white polka dots. Ask everyone standing ringside.

I was riding in the pen the day before the actual classes started at a horse show, and my jeans split down the inseam. Beforehand, it was just frayed and I didn't think too much about it, but I had a total blowout. I was getting a lesson too at the same time so when my trainer wasn't looking I wrapped my sweatshirt around my waist. It got worse and worse as time goes on. The rip was about to my knee by that point. Finally, it was inbetween the exercises and he (my trainer) was talking to other people. I sneaked out of the arena, but the assistant caught me and asked me where I was going. I told her I had a total blowout on my jeans, but I had an extra pair in the tack stall. She laughed and said that happened to her before. I came back before my trainer realized I was gone.

Then at the next show we were at the assistant had a blowout on her jeans and borrowed my extra pair. She was lucky. Lol.

Oh and I forgot I had this one pair of jeans and when I was getting on they split right at the crotch. Luckily I was just riding myself at home.

I have to do panty checks the night before shows. Because in my half awake status I will put on red panties, and tan/white breeches.

I always wear black under wear at shows because my show pants are black. My seat on my saddle is black, and my chaps are black. I was at a show in New Jersey, a BIG open show. I got off my horse and realized my pants were split right on the cro.tch seam. I was weaing my black undies...but i didn't DARE get off my horse just in case...the black undies are now my official horse show panties and i really try not to wear them any other time...it just feels wrong LMAO

Haha, mine's the typical split-down-the-middle breeches story. I was at a jumping clinic and only realized once I got home embarassing!
