want to go back riding after fall!!!

hi everyone i think i will be ready to go back riding in a week or so after my fall. But i am really nervous this time round. It is a horrible feelin my gut is churning thinking of being back in the saddle but in the other hand i am missing riding soooo much its like being on a rollercoaster with all these different feelins.I have been going up the stables grooming and feeding basil and as i thought that would be a good step to take before starting to ride again....WELL il close here as i feel as i am moaning on and on i suppose these feelins are completley normal il try to keep my self on the saddle rather then the floor!!!

Do you have a trainer that will help you get your confidence back? Take your time, don't rush things. I'm sure you will feel better once you're riding again as long as you take things slow. I hope you're feeling confident back in the saddle soon! Good luck!

That's a very good idea you have - work with your horse on the ground. Regain your confidence with ground work. Show yourself that you can control this horse's movements on the ground and in time that will transfer over to your work under saddle. Ground work, done properly, can develop the trust and confidence that both the horse and rider have in each other.

Best wishes from here too. As has already been mentioned, take it slow. If you hurry to get back in the saddle before you are ready it may set you back even further. The strong desire you have to ride again will work to your advantage. Just give it time.

Good luck!
