| Senior Member+ | Same here. Our new place had a cow pasture and there's multiple walnut trees in it. Wondering if it's gonna hurt the horses? There's really no way for me to avoid them. I know the sawdust is toxic, but what about the actual leaves and nuts and bark? |

| Full Member | Black Walnut trees are very toxic to horses causes neurological problems and can cause death. So if they are Black walunt, I would have them removed. You can tell by the odor of theses tree's, real unique! Leave nut and bark are all poisonous but the roots and inner core carry the most toxins. |

| Senior Member+ | Or do what I used to do. I went out daily and picked up all the left over shells. The trees were on my neighbors property but the crows picniced in my pasture. I didn't have much choice I only had an acre in pasture.
