yes I will try once more next spring if she isnt already in foal...

if she doesnt take them I am going to take a breeding lease on another foundation mare at the farm where the stallion is... and have her bred to him.. that way i dont lose my money on the stud fee, as I dont have another QH mare at the time...

ohhh, i see. Well, hopefully she is preggers so you dont have to take a breeding lease, and that baby can be from your own mare!

I know how you feel....to some extent anyway. When we had my 4-H heifer preg-checked, I was so nervous. She was flirty, always hangin' round the bull whether she was in heat or not so I wasn't sure if she was bred. If she wasn't, it was the auction, but she was. If you haven't noticed your mare coming back in heat, she probably is pregnant. How long has it been since she was bred?

she'd be about 2 mos. 2 days roughly that's if she caught on the LAST day she was bred.

Since she's an older mare, I'm not sure if she's bred or not... although I am pretty sure she hasn't gone back into heat...
