I used to do it, but where we have the vacuum at (above our grooming area, it is a pain to get the nozzle down and turn it down. I like grooming him up really good with hard brushes, med, and soft. Those grooma currys really work good to get loose hair up, and dirt too.

All the horses at our barn get vacuumed. They love it. My mare will almost sigh with pleasure, especially when doing her neck and bum. I should take some pictures of how the different horses react. It doesn't take the place of brushing because brushing brings the oils out but it does a wonderful job of getting the dust and loose hair off.
