Using nonfat milk instead of evaporated milk?

I have everything needed to make fudge, except the evaporated milk. Since evaporated milk is just milk with water taken out, can I use my nonfat milk, just less of it?

Also, it calls for a 1/2 pound of butter, but I am going to use margarine instead.

The butter is fine. I think the problem with the milk is that evaporated milk is WHOLE milk, with sugar added.

So if you had whole milk, I would use double the amount (because it is condenced, not expanded when the moisture is taken out) and add more sugar.
