Question *updated with pictures!* Schleese jump and dressage saddles- Fair price?

I am looking at buying a Schleese Jes Elite Dressage saddle and a Schleese Pouvoir jumping saddle- they are both in nice condition and about 6 years old.

What would be a fair price for them together? I am waiting to hear from the seller and I would like some opinions so I have a better idea.

**Update**

She is asking 3k for both. Does this sound like a good deal? What should I try to talk her down to?

the dressage saddle was used for 3 months and the jump saddle 10 times.

And how do you think these will look on my blood bay horse?

Schleeses are super expensive so I couldn't give you a price, but I can say that they are AMAZING saddles and I wouldn't hesitiate to buy one if I had the money!

bump? I think I am looking at around 2k for the pair... is this a good price?

They were each about 3500 new according to the seller.

To me that is a great price and i would take that. Those saddles are pricey on their own but if you are getting a two for one deal i would take it.

OK I am really hoping it isn't much more- the seller said she would give me a $500 discount to buy them together, so the price she wants might be higher than I think...

Is $2k the max I should pay, or more?

Are these saddles $3500 new now? Or when the seller bought them?

I think it would depend on the answer to the above question as well as how much wear they have on the worth. But regardless, I think $2000 would be an amazing deal either way.

It'll be interesting to see what she is wanting for them.

I think you should do some reasearch about these specific saddles to se what they are selling for new and used.

I know that i am getting ready to buy a saddle this month and am spending over $3000 on just one, so $2000 for two, if they are worth it, is a good deal.

I was considering schleese when shopping used saddles, and on ebay, a used one in decent shape almost never went under $1400, and that was cheap.. $2k for 2 in great shape is a steal from what I've seen. Good luck.
