The dressage saddle is wool flocked but the jump saddle has the flair system. I definitely found the same thing during my research, but I found people who loved the air panels as well as people that hated them. I am really feeling good about the JES elite, (I contacted Scleese and told them all my specs and that I was looking to buy one not from them and the said both models sounded right for me and my horse). The Pouvoir I have found nothing but good things, but it has been very sparse. I know the schleese saddles aren't as popular with jumpers, but does anyone know anything about that saddle?

| Senior Member+ | Can you just buy the dressage saddle? That's what I suggest. I would avoid/ pass on the air flocked jump one. Good luck.

| Senior Member+ | All the big time Dressage people (My trainer, her friend who is also a GP trainer, and all their students, and more trainers lol) LOVE the FLAIR system! If you can get it to fit right, I would go for it!

| Senior Member+ | Yes, the jumping saddle has the flair. I think I would prefer that the jump saddle be the "strange" feeling one, since he is just learning to jump and I am getting back into it- if we both learn while riding in a different-feeling saddle then it might not cause problems. But... if I were bouncing more in my dressage saddle that would be no bueno- I am *just* perfecting sitting his extended trot... and he is just learning to do it!! So no drastic changes welcome there
