I think I am a hypocrite. Yes, I am about to start a dreaded "boy thread." But I can't help it!! Okay, here goes:

OMG!! I just got asked out by the cutest guy in my History class! Actually, it was about two and a half hours ago, at school. But you know what I mean.
He was talking to me in History, and I was like, Okay cool. But when he kept talking to me down the hall after class, I kind of guessed something was up. Then when one of his really good friends passed me a note that said "Psst...I'm supposed to tell you Devin likes you" I about passed out. And all I could think was "I really, REALLY hope this is not some big joke." Because his friend (Devin's friend, not Devin himself) is the kind of kid that would do something like that.
Then when Devin asked me out after lunch...I almost passed out again. I was like, "Seriously?" (Yes, retard that I am, I know) and he goes, "Yeah." He wants to take me to the movies this weekend. I said I'd like to but I'd have to see. So then I said bye and caught up with my friend and we were both f.reaking out.
I know I sound like a little twelve year old preteen here, but the thing is I'm fifteen and I've never been asked out. Ever. The grade school I went to had like twenty guys in the whole grade. And they were pretty much all jerks. So I think I'm entitled to be a little (okay, a lot) excited.

So, anyway, Devin is REALLY nice and pretty cute too. He's also in like all advanced classes like me and is basically a "good kid." Also like me. The funny part is that he has to be almost six feet tall and I'm just barely five feet. Lol. I really like him and now I just have to convince my parents to let me go to the movies with him. Wish me luck!

I have a friend like that too...I'm about 5'2 and he's 6'2...lol...it was interesting :P...but we get a long really well

That is about the cutest story I've heard in a long time! I really hope it works out... he sounds like a good guy and you sound like you really like eachother. Let us know how it turns out! =)

*Update* Well, may parents said yes! Whoo-hoo! lol. So we're going to a movie Saturday night. Haven't decided what movie yet, but it's only Tuesday. Any recommendations?

Devin just seems nicer and sweeter every time I talk to him. I think it's safe to say a guy likes you when, if he sees you in the hall, he deserts his friends to come walk with you. And today after school I could see him in the hallway ahead of me; well he must have looked back and seen me because all of a sudden there he is walking back toward me. Awwwww. He walked me to the classroom where I was staying after school to work on a project...and held the door open for me. Awwww again. He is so nice.

aw! cute! I just saw Stick It, with my boyfriend on Sunday.. but I don't know if I'd recommend it as a "first - date " kind of movie, due to their outfits. LOL. I'll brainstorm on any other movies I have seen recently. I'll edit this in a few.
