Update on Stolen Horses

Remember this thread:
Idaho Alert:MO-Missing-AQHA Mare & APHA Filly-Bad Broker Agreement-April 29, 2008

And this one that followed:
I need Legal Help any one want give me some advice?

Well, check out the netpossie add now
http://www.netposse.com/stolenmissin...ssingApr08.htm

Yep, I have been keeping in loose contact with Julie and she sent me pictures today, with more to come soon of dam also, of the "care" the filly received while missing (photos taken in January when they were "dumped" back at Julies old farm:

I want to share some of her information to me with you all:

Quote:
These are the pics of the filly we took a few days after we got her back, I had already taken the halter off and it was not fun. She was of course refusing to let us near her face, but I finally got it off and within a few days she was better about letting you pet her head. I dont have the pics of the mare on this computer will have to get them later. I will be taking pics of them this weekend and you will see how great they look now, so unlike they looked in january when they were dumped at our old place in brunswick, months after we had moved the others to the new farm. Thank god we hadnt been able to move everything due to my truck not running. Its been such a long road with both of them. We are just grateful they are alive, and that she had the sense to give it up.

Quote:
The filly had a halter growing in her face when she was dumped, and the mare was just a nutjob.................we are just gratefull they are back and doing so well. Both were hungry, the mare was thin.................
Quote:
she had no clue we had moved so several weeks later when I went for a load of coral panels there they were. I was so spitting mad, but glad at the same time...................
Quote:
After months of rehab the horses are doing well and the mare has settled back down, when we first found them the mare was untouchable, and yesterday she stood calmly for a bath, and all the sprays etc. She has come a long way but needs to be tacked up yet. She would snort, dance, rear up, etc just looking at a saddle. I have no clue what that crazy woman did to this horse but she will never endure that chaos again.
So horray!!! for a good ending to this whole thing. Just goes to show you that some people will lie and then continue the lie with even more elaborate lies. Like going to the sheriff and claiming to not know where the horses are even after Netpossie has them updated as back home months before their last post was dated. Usually, when it smells bad, it really is.

That was all kind of confusing, but I want to say what an idiot for allowing a halter to grow into a horse's face. I'd say what I really meant but it'd be nothing but ***'s.

I sincerely hope that the horses will recover in all ways, trust in humans would be at the top of the list.

Will the woman who took them ever be charged? That poor baby with her halter grown into her face.

The "lady" they "disapeared" froms pasture has a lot bigger problems to worry about now, so Julie is just letting it go since the horses "turned" back up and she has them back safe.

I'm not saying Jule OR the other lady is guilty, but how do we know the other lady wasn't telling the truth? That after winning her legal case, Julie came and stole the horses, said they were missing, and eventually they "magically" reappeared with her? I don't believe either party as far as I can throw them. Lol.

Foxwood "said" on this forum that she won the court case about ownership of the horses. It's well known in the horse circles exactally where the horses have been since they were "dumped" back in their original home pasture in January AND was posted for all the world to see on NetPosse. Now you tell me, if you had won a court case and had papers, how long would it take you to contact the sherrif in that county and get your horses back? The sherrif where Julie is would be more than happy to enforce a court ruling, I know him.

I realize I know more about this since it is in my "area", but you start putting two and two together from all the stories and it does ad up. Then you add in the most recent information that is not necessary to post on the open forum about other issues in Foxwood's life and it spells it out clearly. Court documents are open records in Missouri.
