Well, the vet finally came today to look at Cowboy's legs. See my thread about Cowboy getting caught in the cattle guard. There is still swelling so he can't tell exactly what kind of damage was done to ligaments or tendons. He said the skin would start to slough off down to the bone Cowboy is putting weight on it and hobbling around his enclosure so I guess that's a good sign! He certainly hasn't lost his appetite either. Poor boy! He's got a long recovery ahead of him.
