Smile Ty Update: Discharged to Rehabilitation

Just for a reference, here are the threads regarding Ty's situation:
Ty Update: Scared him into it!

Ty was discharged from the hospital today . He had definitly become a favorite of the staff members...they were crying when he left . He's out of the "danger-zone" so they felt they could release him to the rehabilitation center. He will recieve 24 hour treatment there, like the hospital, but with more amenities. Although things could go wrong in regards to his eye and become worse, they remain optomistic. Thank you everyone for all your kind thoughts and prayers during this difficult time...they have meant the world to me.

Hi Ashleigh,

I had missed the thread where you posted the pictures of him in his eye patch. I'm so happy that he is improving.

Is the rehab center closer to you? I know you want to visit as often as possible!

Are you and your sister able to ride another horse while he is recuperating?

Give my boy a big hug!!

Vicky

The rehab center isn't much closer unfortunatly, but yes, I feel very fortunate that we can visit him

I have actually been up to my neck in horse riding. I've been riding horses for two people out at the barn...I feel very lucky in this regard as well. It'll come in handy to be in shape when Ty gets back as I'm sure he'll have plenty of energy to let me know about

So glad to hear Ty is making progress! What an ordeal for you--but he is so lucky to have you for a mom. Hope he continues to do well in rehab. Keep us posted and I'll keep you both in my prayers!
