[I Love BODIE!]

This weekend (Apr. 18-20) is the Twin Rivers Ranch Horse Trials!
I'm extremely excited as this is going to be my first event ever!
I'll be riding my beautiful boy Protégé (aka Bodie) in the Junior
Novice Rider division (2'11'')! I can't believe it's only
four days away, I feel as if I've been planning this forever! All I know
is that these next four days are going to go by at a snail's pace

Wish us luck! When I come back, I'll post pictures and videos (as
long as they're not too embarrassing)!

Oh, and if you have any last minute tips for me, feel free to post
them. I could always use help!

Oh yaay! I thought it was this weekend. Hmm. Guess I was wrong! I'm so super excited for you...Bodie is just AWESOME and I can't believe how lucky you are to have such a great horse You're going to do just SUPER. I put most of mah tips on your other thread, but I just remembered one more--while you shouldn't really do it in dressage, in stadium and on XC, I urge you to wear sunglasses. UV protection, sun's in your eyes, misjudge the jumps yadda yadda yadda...the ACTUAL reason? If you're wearing sunglasses, it's virtually impossible to look stupid in the professional pictures Unless you're me

LOL Feliche, I would wear sunglasses but I think the big bug-eyed ones that I have would look....um....interesting, for lack of a better word

ETA: Oh, and the reason I put up a new thread was so that I would HAVE to put up the videos and pictures, no matter how bad they look

As for the sunglasses...mine are from the dollar store Pick up some if you want! I gurantee you it's worth it

Only THREE MORE DAYS!!! Aaahhhhh I think I'm going to explode from boredom - I've been sitting at home all day doing nothing but think about this weekend (shows you how much of a loser I am, huh? )

Little tip - eyes up! Super important XC, when jumps come up faster then they did when you walked the course! (Which, btw, I STRONGLY advise you to do! Walk the course, AT LEAST once - I never compete without walking it 2-3 times.)
