Angry trouble with tango

tango will not load or catch and i'm stumped for how to get him to catch and load with others around him and without having to take them out of where he is.

today it took 14 hours to try to catch him and another 2 to try and load him plz help because i want to do sj on thursday night and need him ok for when we go.

he hasn't had an accident in a trailer of box before.
join up doesnt seem to be/have worked so i am totally stumped.

I dont really kno what you should do, but on the loading issue- I would have suggested join up...an also to do a lot of things on the ground. Try getting her/him to walk over or do things he is scared of, tarps, plastic bags, puddles(well my horse hates puddles) anything you can think of. Getting your horse to trust you and do things he is scared with you, learn that you wont put him in danger, will help with loading. Do a lot of respect/space work on the ground, get her to really trust you. However, I think that it will take more than 4 days to work. Good luck, and i hope I helped! If all else fails, you could always use a butt rope to get her in the trailer.

ok thanks i am going for humane way an i guess a butt rope is sort of humane but isn't it frowned upon by the rspca and animal actavists.

I sure wouldn't think so...it is not hurting them at all. Just putting pressure from behind to urge them forward. I just posted in your thread on the training forum. It is far too long to post again. LOL Good luck, Ash.
