I think it looks good enough to eat, myself! I used it on one of my horses, and he really liked it, but everytime I'd go to buy some, the price had went up 25 cent, literally. So I switched to another feed. I do know my cousin started their very-hard-keeper old horse on it about 2 weeks ago, and she is still in the building up to only that food stage. As of yet, she says she hasn't seen a change, but it's too soon to recognize anything significant.

I used to use the Lite stuff, but it became too hard to get, so I stopped. But, I did like it, it was good stuff.

Our mares coliced several times on sweet feed, and so far on this, they seem to be doing good. Thier coats look even better then they were. We pay $13.60 a 50 lb. bag. And my husband feeds his geldings Legend, and they on doing quite well on that to.

We use it for our 28 year old mare. It is expensive, but the best thing for her especially since she is a hard keeper.

I cannot get it in my area...but from what I have read.. Triple Crown feeds as a whole are very good!

I used it all winter on my old horse and he did very well on it. I had to take him off it because he stopped eating it. Originally, I had him on Purina Equine senior (which he absolutly loves) but he needed some probiotics. I tried the supplements but he wouldn't eat them. My daughter, who works at a big barn, suggested TC senior (which has added probiotics) because she thought it smelled good enough to eat! He did eat it for about 6 months and looked great and kept his weight on over the winter. I have since put him back on the Purina only because he wouldn't eat it anymore . I feed my other 2 easy keepers TC lite.

I have just aquired a retired roping horse for my daughter. He is in his early 20's (so we are told) and can use a bit of weight. I have just started him on TC Senior. Will let ya know how his weight goes.
