Our final evening at Shellys..

It had been a long weekend for us all I think. We laughed, we cried, we laughed some more.

This is Blue on his walk up the driveway after his hosing off-

A shot of the front bunch following us up the drive!

I can't remember this ones name-but I know Shelly does-I like this pic!

The next day was the phone work-and out the door we went to come home. It was only an 8 hour drive home! lol!

If anyone has any questions about the state of the horses, I actually took about 145 pics. I uploaded only a handful of those. What I seen were horses that were happy, some overweight-some just right-but no one, not even that 40 year old pony was thin. Her goats are nice and plump, dogs are too, cats are great too. The ONLY thin thing on the place is Shelly herself. Woman-you gotta EAT. (pssst...did you find the soups I left in your cabinet yet?? Eat that with your grilled cheese! LOL)

Shellys heart and soul ARE these animals-the horses, cats, dogs goats-they ARE her family. Someone saying the ill things that has been said is not just slamming Shelly-they are hacking at her heart and being. Shame on you, and shame on those who were believeing it so quickly. I do hope this shows how easily it is to be duped by a person. Lord knows we can all have our ill effects on this forum-we can be read wrong-quoted wrong, and just put out there in a manner that doesn't remotely put forth a foot as to WHO we really are. It is sad. If people could just put heart behind their thoughts more often...I do think it would help us all out...

Shelly-I am proud to call you a friend-we have our disagreements=boy howdy!! lol=but we do put them aside for the friend we have in one another. Stay strong-stay on the path we are forging. Luv ya lady~

you are very welcome. This guy is a babydoll! Not much rattles his cage, and if you go at him sanely, he is as sane as they come. He let me hose him off with little resistance-then after he found out it was goooooooood, he was all for it! lol!

Congrats on getting him-I do believe you shall be in love.

Horses look good to me. They look like they came out of my back yard, fat and healthy.

What a winding road life takes us on.

Sometimes we could use a bit straighter road!

Remember folks-when we got there, there were 27 horses there-ALL looking robust and healthy.

I wish I understood what this was all about. I don't have any clue what is going on but I've been following this thread since it started.

I must say, those goats are AMAZING. I had no idea they got that big? I think I need one.

Tammy....there ya go....you have me crying AGAIN. I am so hurt...so angry...so frustrated at all of it. Yet, relieved that the truth has come out, and that person saying those things has been proven AGAIN to be a liar. I know this isn't over tho. She will be back, and telling MORE lies. I just want to say to those who chose to believe her....be careful who you trust. If you get caught up defending this person...it will eventually come back to bite you. That much I can promise you.

Cindy.....I sat here reading your post, waiting for you to say something negative to me. I had to read it 3 times, before realising that you were actually on my side for a change. In my own defense....I've never once claimed I was a sane person....or even a rational one....it actually takes someone a little insane to do what I do, I think. But, I DO claim to have a very deep, passionate love for these animals....it's a passion I've had since childhood, and it just grows stronger every year. For that, I plead GUILTY!

I keep thinking I'm having a nightmare and I'll wake up....telling anyone who will listen about it. Unfortunately, I haven't woken up yet.

UM... I think the onlything that Shelly has done is maybe OVER feed her horses. they have NOT went without a meal in a long time... Looks good... they all look good!
That gelding is Zipper. I just wanted to say, all of the horses that are overweight....stay that way year round on straight grass or hay. None of them have had a drop of grain in a year and a half. Can you imagine what they'd all look like if I did grain them??? We are talking founder overload!
