We all went and met up to try to help her through one of the worst times she has ever encountered. It got pretty rough-I think everyone of us felt her pain in one way or another.

The tears in the loading of her babies to go to new home-the tears of unknowing, it was all so very hard. I can only imagine how this is feeling to her. I only hope we were able to help-if I get another call of such distress-you can bet-my behind WILL be in that truck again-hauling my fluffy self to do what I can.

If anyone has ANY halters, or leadropes lying around they do not need, she sure can use them. We had a definite shortage of those items while trying to do everything we were. I gave her two pretty new leads-but halters are REALLY needed.

I will be back on in the morn-to post more pics-there are some dandies coming! Everyone have a good night!

Oh wow! LMAO I had NO idea you took all those pics! Cool!

And yes that's my dear sweet Cinamon. She was near dead when I got my hands on her. I fattened her up and did all I could do, then sent her to Shelly. It was a hard decision, but one I would do again in a heartbeat! She is so happy there, I couldn't bare to take her from her herd buddies. There is an old thread on here somewhere about her and Aristotle. They were the only 2 that lived out a herd of 7. One had died the day before I could get to them and Cinamon and Aristotle would have been soon.

I'll look around for halters, I'm sure I have some lying around I can part with.

There's the pics of all my "poor" horses. Don't they just look so skinny??? I am the absolute worst horse owner on the face of this earth.....I just spoil, love and keep them healthy..........guess that's not what is suppose to be done with them?

Tammy....I keep telling you that if it hadn't of been for you coming here this weekend and helping me, NONE of it would of gotton done. I was too the point of shutting down....I had, had it, and I didn't want to deal with, or do anymore. I think you really are what a TRUE FRIEND is.....hun, they come NO BETTER than YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You were my 'rock' thru it all and you kept me upright.

***sighs*** I just wish none of it would of happened....I really miss my babies that left me. Every horse that comes thru my hands is a piece of my heart....everytime one leaves me, a piece of my heart goes with it. All weekend, it felt like my heart was just being chipped away at.

ETA: I just looked at the pic of the 4 of us standing together. I wish I wasn't in it....I look like death warmed over.

Awwwwwwwww, Shelly-I just did what I could. I felt rather helpless at times though-will tell ya that... I know how hard it is to let them go, but doing what we do-we have too. I have pretty much stopped with the rescues because of it. But when I do...it gets so very hard-believe me when I say I felt your pain in your decision.

You do not look like death warmed over either-you look exactly as you are-stressed out and worn out. Time Shelly-we are getting things straightened out...

Now-for more...

cj-I would steal this one-lol!

Pepsi I believe...

I LOVE being able to do a field shot and having horses in it!! So kewl!

I have forgotten his name...oh dear...
and dig this guys hiney-he is the 40 year old pony! I only WISH my hiney looked that good at 40!!

And Preacher-this is a guy with a heart as big as his ears!

Preacher again-he is foundered-gets around like a freight train though!

Remember Star? This is her PRIOR to her going to Shellys-NO SHE DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THIS NOW-THIS MARE IS WAS NOT ON THE PROPERTY IN THIS CONDITION THIS PAST WEEKEND. THIS IS PRIOR TO HER GOING THERE:

Star NOW:
