Waving the flag sounds really simple. I've been meaning to do it, but haven't found the time. You start by having them hold some type of cloth that tastes like a treat, like a washclothes with apple juice poured on it. Just go through it several times until they are used to having stuff in their mouth. Then they will look forward to putting stuff in there, and i guess you just work your way up to your goal. I'm sorrry, that's all i have for that one.
Then I know how to get a horse to bow. Start extremely slow with your horse, dont skip any steps, and make sure your in a safe enviroment and your horse can trust you. Have your horse in a halter and lead rope and stand on your horse's left side. Then pick up the front left leg and bend it as if to pick the hoof. slowly roll your horse's body backwards (your goal is to be able to rest the knee on the ground. your horse will feel uncomfortable right away, so release when you feel tension. Keep at it, and your horse will get it. try to work in some cues so that your horse will do it by like tapping its shoulder or saying bow.
Then once you have mastered the bow, you can teach to lie down. Once in the bow position (make sure you are on the left side and your holding onto the lead rope. the lead rope should be on the right side of the horse [opposite you]). Then grab your horses wither and rock the body towards you. Again, they will be very tenetive to do this. All it takes is practice.
Alritey, then to make your horse say "YES", have your horse in the halter and lead rope. Use a small, pointy object, but not so pointy that it can puncture the horse. Then gently prick your horse somwhere along the neck. You want to imatate being a pesky fly that they are trying to rid themselves of. every horse has a different prick spot, but find your horses. when poked, your horse should nod its head. i suggest somewhere closer to the poll. Work in a question everytime you do it. Such as...Are you a good boy/girl? Do you love me? just try and keep them short.
And last one...To make your horse look "ashamed" of itself. I love this one, and friends get a kick outa it. Stand facing your horse, treat in left hand. Extend your right hand and point a finger at your horse, as if you are mad or irritated at him. then, put your left arm behind your back with the treat so your horse can see it under your right arm. Your horse will reach for the treat and put his nose or head under your right arm. it will give off the look of guilt or "im sorry". i think everyone should try it, its so funny.

well, let me know if you guys have any more questions!

you can teach a horse to bow
you need a western saddle on your horse (this will take time)
a nice soft cotten lead rope or jus a soft rope
rope must tied comfortabley around one front foot
it'd be easy for the horse to learn if you always use the same front foot i used my horses left foot
youll want to lift the horses foot make sure he is ballanced
wrap the rope round the horn of the saddle but not to tight so you cant get it undone jus enough so you can hold up his foot
you dont want to pull his foot up too high so he lands on his knee
so make sure his leg is parrallel to the ground
now if you lift the left foot youll want to tip his nose in just a bit to the right
this will push his shoulder twards you some
the more the horse trust you the easier itll be
he may not immediatly start to go down cuz he has yet to know what ur asking
and horses still have their wild insticts and know they are more vulnurable on the ground
so what you may want to do is gently pull him twards you from the withers
some horses might freak a little with their leg tied up so
i was lucky and had a calm horse
praise the horse for any amount he goes down
after practice he will kneel down on one leg
i have finally gotten it where i can get him to kneel with out anything on him i jus pick up his foot pull a little on his withers tward me and he will kneel down for me then i can hop on and ride free

i taught copper to lay down but it took so long to do it that i would know how to get another horse to do it. plz make sure your horse really trusts you before attemping to teach tricks such as bowing.
