Trav leaves Saturday

Well it's official. His leg is doing well, probably 95% back to normal, so he's off to training on Saturday for 4-6 weeks. He'll be 2 1/2 hours from home, so I will get to see him most weekends, but it's not going to be the same.

I guess my house will be cleaner and my son will get more home cooked meals though.

I'm leaving tomorrow night to go trail riding in Arkansas, so I have to say goodbye tonight.

Oh well, with a little luck, he'll complete his training with flying colors and I'll be riding him at a field trial on April 1st. How cool would that be!

Everyone keep your fingers crossed that my boy does well with gunfire, dogs, ground tying, birds flushing next to him, etc.

I know you're sad to see him go, but excited! I'm glad his leg is better, hehe now you'll be the one limping when you get home

Thats great Karen, I am glad his leg is doing much better. I am sure he will handle his training just fine. I know you will miss him, but think of what you are getting back at the end! Have fun trail riding!!!!!
