i dont know if anyone will agree its just me... but to me it seems kind of dangerouse...i would work with a wild horse with a larger roundpen..and i dont know if i like the poll... i dont know if it will sound stupid... but it also seem like it could be dangerouse to the horse and the humane.... im sure other will think diffrent... im just saying what i think... i think working with a wild horse... i would start a bit farther from the horse. Being that close to the horse would make it more scared and a bit harder to build its confidence.... wild horses are used to having large spaces to interact with eachother.

is it just me, or does he look off in one of his front legs? not lame...but you can see him take certain steps that imply (to me) that he isnt fully sound. idk at all 4 sure...just wat i saw.

^^^ my thought - either that or he wasnt sound and couldnt move, but it ws intersting that he didnt put his ears back or try to come in to the middle at all...ive seen (and helped with) a lot of horses being broken, and Im not saying she's a fake AT ALL but soemthing doesnt seem to set right with me... |

He defiantly doesn't look right in the front right. But I believe a little bit has to do with 1 the size of the arena, and 2 him being worried and scared. I agree I don't think I would ever use a pole with a "wild horse"... Specially when you know horses CAN and DO spin a lot in round pens. Next thing you know chain-saws are going to be the NEW "training" tool... |

Not exactly the way I do it but effective non the less.I would say the horse has been kept in that area for a while and feed there so it is a 'safe' place for him.The small size actually works in the trainers favour as the horse realises it has no where to go so removes a lot of the "flight" instinct. The horse seems to have very little "fight" instinct which is what leads me to think it has been there for a while(probably not worked) and become secure with the handlers presence and has little actual fear of her.
