if he's a fairly easy keeper I'd put him on a ration balancer...Strategy isn't really the best 8so I've learned lol* I just switched Royal and he was pretty come to begin with but would have his moments, now he's much more consistant

Since he's off-he's most likely in pain. If that's the case, he will be wanting to get rid of the pain (you on his back).Also if there's pain, it's less painful for them to work if they go 'fast and jiggy', because they are not really working their hind ends that way.
STOP RIDING HIM if he's off!! Get him fixed before you continue.

what would be making him in pain?
ive had his back checked.and the farrier says he's good..
so i cant really think of much else that would make that be the problem
any ideas?

what do you feed you're horse I feed mine stratagy and they're both doing good on it???
