Buck Brannaman's books, "Believe" and "The Faraway Horses" are excellent reads, no matter what style of training you use.

^^ yeah...The Faraway Horses is EXCELLENT! Great story. Slightly resembles Monty Roberts life story as well, but I liked Buck's better

Oh I really enjoy Buck! He's a great clinician if you ever get to see him...

I am HOPING to make the long trip to Bend, OR in October for the Mike Bridges Hackamore clinic.... I have wanted to make it to one of his clinics for sometime now and Eastern, OR (about 8 hr drive for me from here) are the closest he's come, so am TRYING to make it this year to Bend.... Sheila Varian suggested to me that I might enjoy his clinics, she herself utilizes the old Vaquero methods with her Arabians she uses on her ranch in CA
